RESULTS: Holiday Travel Poll? In last month's edition of the Traveler's Tribune, we asked over 100,000 of our Travel Club members, 'Where will you be traveling this holiday season?' We got an overwhelming number of responses from our devoted Travel Club members! Thirty percent of the respondents are traveling to Florida! Rated second with 15 percent, were members who are staying at home to enjoy the festivities, while 10 percent are traveling to Texas. Visitors to New York (8%) and California (8%) rounded out the top 5 responses. On a more specific level, 16 percent of our members are traveling to Disneyworld, while other members are flocking to Las Vegas (15%), Orlando (14%), taking a cruise in the Caribbean (10%) and visiting New Orleans (8%) over the holidays. PRODUCT NEWS?Be sure to login to your RoomSaver.com account by visiting RoomSaver.com's Advertiser's Corner and check out your campaign's success and the new format we've implemented for a more user-friendly experience. Modify your nightly rate, or review statistics on the number of coupons clipped and/or printed, number of click-thrus to your Web site and e-mail, as well as reports on the number of incoming calls through your Reservation Call Source. According to our recent Customer Satisfaction Survey, almost 60 percent of our clients are logging in to check on their RoomSaver.com campaign. Forty-two percent of that group is logging in to check on their traffic statistics and 33 percent are modifying their online coupon. On page 10, under 'Web sites for travelers,' they have referred their readers to RoomSaver.com for our hotel discount coupons search. That is exciting exposure for us!

WHAT'S NEW IN THE HOTEL INDUSTRY? According to a recent survey, 'Annual Women on Their Way,' conducted by Wyndham International Inc., which asked, 'Women: How Would You Improve Business Travel?' The respondents indicated that the business travel experience is missing personal touches and money-saving amenities, such as a bottle of water waiting in the guest room, preferred non-business reading material in the guest room, a more inviting guest room, healthy snacks, free Internet and Wi-Fi access. The winning responses, along with information gained from a Wyndham-sponsored study into women business travelers' behaviors and attitudes, will help the company shape its 2004 offerings.
